Get ready for a spectacular celestial show! Join us for a Perseids Meteor Shower viewing over the McKaig Nature Center on Friday, August 12th at 8:30-10:30 PM.
This year, the shower is expected to peak between August 11th and 13th. With warm summer night air and no moonlight (new moon), we anticipate prime, dark-sky conditions for an incredible show.
Past years have brought us a dazzling display of fast, bright meteors, and this mid-summer night promises to be especially bountiful!
Star guide included
Bring: Camp chairs, blankets, and bug spray recommended!
Registration required: $10 per adult; children under 16 attend for free.
