Fun (and educational) Spring Break Expeditions along the forest trails of the McKaig park. Completed and submitted adventures will be entered in drawing to win prizes.
At your own date, time and pace these adventures are for students age 6-12+.
Personalized with your family's name, an emailed printable* instruction packet will provide instructions and places for recording your child’s discoveries. Each exploration should last an hour or 2.
• Orienteering: learn the basics and go point to point along the trails
• Trees: the ultimate renewable resource
• Above your ears: explore the world above your ears
• Geo-cache: download an app and find the caches in the park
• Below your nose: discover nature looking down
• Bonus adventure: a FUN “Teacher In-service” day special (involves water and rocks)
Take pictures of the completed adventure pages and email to info@enjoymckaig.org or text 484 580-9474 to enter drawings to win prizes (tee shirts, paracord survival bracelets and more, limited quantities) Deadline for submission April 17th. Program in partnership with Roberts Elementary School PTC.
