Scavenger Hunt - family fun "go on your own" event
About this event
Join us for the first McKaig Scavenger Hunt!
Over the course of the week, head out to McKaig and see how many items off of the “What to Find” list you can spot!! Take pictures of what you find and share in this event! This is a family friendly event and we encourage you to take trails you normally don’t take, read signs you normally pass by, and enjoy your time in the park.
You might not find everything on the list and that is okay! Some items are meant to be tougher than others!
Utilize the link below to sign up for the Scavenger Hunt! Your “What to Find” list and completion form will be emailed to you at the email provided on Friday 5/7, so you have a few days to plan before the scavenger hunt begins!
Rules:
- All items can be seen from the marked trails. Stay on the established trails. DO NOT go off trail.

DO NOT chase wildlife, or try to approach wildlife/snakes/insects

DO NOT take pictures of anyone or their pets without asking permission

Clean up after yourself, and if you see litter pick it up and place in designated trash cans

Follow all COVID protocols
