About this event
The entertainment will be classic cartoons from the 1940's and 50's (view a variety of cartoons from that era on youtube to see if it's appropriate for your children.)
McKaig educators will present a few minutes of related education every half hour or so. Think watching a Woody Woodpecker cartoon then learning about pileated woodpeckers common to the McKaig park.
Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear, the event is rain or shine (your account will receive a credit if event is canceled due to wind). Bring smiles, flashlights and something to sit on.
There will be a fire or 2 in containers and the location is by a stream, so personal safety is paramount.
A limited amount of free popcorn will be available and water bottles will be sold for $1
Plan to bring a flashlight and a beach chair. Note that there are no restrooms in the woods.
