Parade of Planets viewing where we‘ll catch a glimpse of (from E to W) Mars, Jupiter, Crescent Moon, Venus, and Saturn that should be visible to the naked eye. Neptune and Uranus can be seen with a telescope.

Slimmest Crescent Moon Cradles Saturn: If the conditions are right, 45 minutes after sunset, look low in the western sky for the slimmest crescent Moon you’ve ever seen. Just above it will be a faint yellow “star,” the planet Saturn.

*$5 per person donation to McKaig Nature Center requested.

Pre-registration and a signed waiver are required.
